Shine is absolutely delighted that one of our Newbank apprentices, Amy, has been nominated for a national award.
Since joining the team two years ago, Amy has been nothing short of a fantastic addition to the team.
Parents and children alike are very fond of her. We’ve received countless emails and letters filled with nothing but praise.
And now she’s been shortlisted for the Nursery Apprentice award. At the age of just eighteen.
She completed her apprenticeship course earlier in the year, and clearly has a very bright future ahead.
As part of Amy’s nomination, Shine said: “Her attention to detail and heartfelt interest in childcare is reinforced by our in-house bespoke continuous professional development program.
“Amy is fully engaged in this process and soaks up training and development opportunities with enthusiasm and passion for the role.”
Many parents were also happy to send us some kind words about Amy. One said: “She is an absolute credit to your nursery. I can see the dedication she has to her job through my little boy.”
“The way he runs over to her in a morning with open arms sets me up for the day.”
This is the 16th year the NMT Awards have taken place.
The event takes place on December 1st, at the Hilton London Metropole, and we’re very excited about it!
