Tiny Tree Nursery in Halifax, is just a five minute walk from the town center.
We have fantastic indoor and outdoor spaces for children to learn and play. Our rooms are the perfect environment to promote learning and development via the Ofsted rated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) education system.
We provide half day care and full day care for children aged 0-5. We also offer before/after school care and a holiday club for children attending School up to age 14.

Tiny Tree Halifax has four main areas for children – The Baby Room, Toddler Room, Over 2s and Pre-school. There are spaces indoors and outside for the children to play in with lots of bright and engaging things to do and see, so they’ll be happy and entertained whenever they are here.
Our days are filled with fun, laughter, and all sorts of exciting activities including painting and messy play, technology, physical education, football, story time and an introductory foreign language, currently Spanish.

The babies room at Tiny Tree is the start of your children’s journey into childcare. Our staff offer considerable 1:1 attention in a vibrant and stimulating environment.
Toddlers - 13-24 months
As your little ones start to grow up, they transition from the Babies Room to the Toddlers Room.
Here at Tiny Tree, activities are age appropriate as our team start to integrate education into playtime.
Over Two's - 25-36 months
As your children move closer to Preschool, education and learning becomes more prominent in our daily activities.
Our qualified team provide plenty of attention to help your children be ready for the transition.
Preschool 36 months +
Preschool is the final step on your child’s journey with Tiny Tree.
Our main focus in this group is school preparation. Our activities are educational allowing for a smooth transition from nursery to big school!

“My name is Emma and I am the Manager of Tiny Tree Day Nursery Halifax. I’ve always worked in the Early Years sector and I’ve worked for Shine Childcare for 8 years. I started as a Practitioner at our Little Angels nursery in Huddersfield and progressed into more senior roles over time .”
I’ve always had a passion for working with children and love to provide them with the best opportunities to learn and develop in early life. My fantastic team of staff and myself always strive to give children the best possible start to their education in a fun and stimulating environment”

Healthy Eating
Meals at Tiny Tree
During the day, breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea are provided. We have a qualified cook in our nursery who uses fresh ingredients to provide extra tasty and healthy food for the children.
There are also exciting food-based activities, such as making sandwiches and pizzas as well as planting and growing vegetables. Different kinds of food from all around the world are prepared as part of a regularly updated menu to encourage children to have a wide and interesting taste as they grow!
We offer vegetarian options at all meal times and cater for all special dietary needs such as milk/nut allergies and gluten free meals.
All of our nurseries have a five-star rating as approved by the Food Standards Agency. This is the highest rating that can be achieved.

Outdoor Space
Out outdoor space is essential to our day
Keeping the children entertained is great fun.
Our dedicated outdoor space provides lots of opportunities for children to play and learn about nature, plants and where our food comes from, as well as learning about the positive impact of being fit and healthy.

At Shine Childcare, we believe in being totally upfront about our fees.
We want you to know what your costs will be and what help you are eligible for to help you pay them.
We’ll help you navigate the changing landscape of government help for childcare, helping you to understand what vouchers and funding are available. We can even help you with any funding application you’re eligible for!
There are a variety of attendance and payment options to meet everyone’s individual needs, whether full or part time. Siblings get a 10% discount.
*Please note: We do not offer a full-time discount when funded sessions are utilized and the rate we receive from the local authority falls below our standard hourly pricing. Please contact us for more information.

Catering for children from birth to 5 years, we are open each weekday, from 7.30am to 6.00pm, for 51 weeks of the year, excluding Bank Holidays. We offer the following sessions:
Full Day: 7.30am – 6.00pm
Morning: 7.30am – 1.00pm
Afternoon: 1.00pm – 6.00pm
