Tiny Tree is home to the leading out of school and holiday club for children up to aged 12 in the Halifax area.
As well as regular school term time, we are also opening during the entire summer holiday period and half term (including Easter).
Our out of school care is based from the highly commended Halifax Nursery – Tiny Tree. Due to the nursery setting, our staff are naturally highly qualified in advanced techniques of childcare. Your children’s happiness and development is paramount to us when under our care.
Our experiences are both fun and productive, within a stimulating learning environment. Our measurement of success is to regularly hear “when can we go back” from the children under our care. Your children’s experience marks the success of our environment and nothing makes us happier!
Collaborative Planning
Working together to maximise our experiences.
We work with the children who attend our holiday club. Their opinion is important when planning our activities and likes and dislikes are taken into account.
We work with parents to ensure that our schedule is as productive as possible. A detailed planning document is prepared and forwarded to parents prior to each session. This allows for forward preparation and ensures children are informed and excited prior to arriving with us.
We do everything possible to mix things up with our sessions. Where it is common for out of school care to remain onsite, at Tiny Tree we do everything possible to deliver lasting experiences. Offsite trips are a regularity, at local play areas, lunches out and even the occasional trip to amusement parks or museums. The variety really helps to provide a stimulating, lasting experience for children.
Here at Tiny Tree, your children’s safety is the most important factor.
Onsite, we conduct regular risk assessments to a high standard, ensure safety always comes first. For offsite trips, a full evaluation takes place prior to addition to our roster. This attention to detail creates an addition layer of safety around a day out at Tiny Tree. You can be reassured that your children will be as safe with us, as they are at home.
Highly Trained Holiday Club Staff
Who care about the happiness of your children.
One-to-one attention allows your children to really bond with our staff. In addition, having someone at the holiday club children know gives them reassurance in their day. We operate a 1/8 (staff/child) ratio, which means it is possible to build lasting bonds and deliver the highest possible standard of care.
Behavior training is a key part of our staffs schedule. We regularly conduct training activities to ensure that our staff are always able to create positive environments for your children. Our collective level of experience in the industry, in mixed age groups is considered best-in-class within childcare.
Safeguarding and child protection training is an essential part of our our staff’s skill set. Tiny Tree Halifax holiday club is a place your children can truly shine, in a safe and productive learning environment.
Local School Pick-up and Drop Off
In the Halifax area.
We have a great relationship with several local schools. This ensures a smooth pickup and drop-off system.
The children are taken to and from school by foot or minibus. We have a number of our own cars and minibusses which as well as the school run, are used for our unique offsite trips.

Opening Times
Tiny Tree Halifax Holiday Club is for primary school children up to 12 years old. We open every day during the week, from 7.30am to 6.00pm, for 51 weeks of the year, excluding Bank Holidays. We offer the following sessions:
Full Day Holiday Club: 7.30am – 6.00pm
Before School: 7.30am – School drop off
After School: School pick up – 6.00pm
