Building Development

Building work is planned to take place this month. The plan is to open up the wall between the Tweenie rooms. Disruption will be minimal, and the works, will as always be overlooked by our architect and will take place during the weekends.

The children will be relocated to our Holiday Club area for the weeks whilst the work is completed. This is currently estimated to be weeks commencing Monday 5th September and 12th September.

The aim is for Tweenies children to return to their room week commencing Monday 19th September.

Drop-off and collections will be through the black gates to the right of the main building and the final door to the right of the extensions overlooking the garden. Please ask if you need further information

International Literacy Day

International Literacy Day takes place on Thursday 8th of September every year to raise awareness and concern for literacy problems that exist within our own local communities as well as globally.

Throughout September we will focus on bridging any gaps in children’s learning and development around literacy. If there is anything, in particular, you would like your child’s key person to work on, please feel free to discuss this with them or email the office and we will be happy to help.

MacMillan Coffee Afternoon

We will be holding our annual MacMillan Coffee Afternoon on Friday 23rd September. We would like to invite all parents who are free to come along between 1.30 & 3.00 pm to enjoy a little time with us here, after such a long time away, to enjoy soft drinks and cakes.

Please inform your child’s key person if you would like to attend and please inform us if you have any dietary requirements.

Rosh Hashanah

We will celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year celebration on Monday 26th of September. We will taste apples with honey as this represents healing properties and brings in a hopefully sweet new year.
