Staff Member and Room of the Month
Natalie has been awarded ‘Staff Member of the Month’ for settling so well into the Nursery and building strong bonds with her new key children and parents.
Pre-school were awarded ‘Room of the Month’ for their continuous organisation within the room, providing stimulating and exciting activities daily, whilst adapting to each child’s interests. The staff and children have also worked hard with our nativity, which I’m sure every parent/carer is excited to see.
Please feel free to send in your nominations direct to the office, via email, or ask for a slip from a staff member on drop off or on collection.

Cold Weather
As the weather has now turned wintry, please would you ensure that your child has appropriate outdoor clothing with them at all times.
This applies to all ages as we like to get all the children outside as often as possible. Our motto is ‘There is no such thing as unsuitable weather, only unsuitable clothing.’
Please clearly label all scarves, hats, gloves and other clothing with your child’s name. It is important to have fresh air and access to the outdoor environment daily, although during the winter months we do shorten these times according to the weather.
Invoices
All invoices for December 2022 have now been sent out. If you have not received your invoice, please contact the office. Please be reminded that nursery fees are payable in advance. If you have any queries about this, please speak to Chloe or Sophie in the office
Activities and Planning
Over the coming month we will focus on Christmas.
We will use stories and rhymes to promote Communication, Language & Literacy. The children will develop their creativity as they prepare lots of artwork to bring home.
Pre-school have been working hard on their nativity performance. which will be held at our local church; letters and emails have been sent to keep you all updated on this.
For our Focus Country of the Month we will learn about England. We will sample a traditional Christmas lunch and learn about the Christmas story.
To help us with our January planning please let us know your children’s interests during the time they are away from nursery over the festive period.
